Dean Griess has been in the learning profession for two decades, leading teams in a variety of industries such as satellite television providers, outsourcing, and financial services. His passion revolves around creating remarkable experiences and helping other learning professionals achieve their highest potential. 

Dean’s primary experience is in facilitation. He has trained, certified, and coached more than 1,000 presenters and facilitators throughout his career. The energy he brings to his sessions creates a unique, growth-oriented environment. 

His ATD Master Trainer certification complements the topics he covers during his sessions These include leadership development, coaching, trainer certification, change management, virtual presence, presentation skills, storytelling, new-hire orientations, and transition planning. 

Dean holds a bachelor’s degree in speech communications from Colorado State University. He served on the ATD Rocky Mountain Chapter Executive Advisory Board, participated in the ATD Program Advisory Committee, and contributed to the ATD Handbook for Training and Talent Development.
