Denise Haas
ABOUT ME

Denise is an Instructional Designer at the International Code Council, ICC for over 10 years. Managing training projects and working with subject matter experts and production staff to create training workbooks and presentation materials for courses on building codes for architects, engineers, building officials and inspectors. Denise also is a visual communications expert with extensive background in the design of training materials.

She has been a college instructor at Joliet Junior College, teaching graphic design software and an instructor at Governors State University, teaching training techniques and message design. She has been president and board member of CISPI, the Chicago Chapter of the International Society for Performance Improvement, and is currently on the IACET Committee for Standard Development. She is learning Articulate for the development of elearning courses.

 

Specialties include script writing, editing, project management, instructional design, information design and activity based learning with technical content to create learning-rich training materials.
