Ellis is always looking for opportunities to get people more involved, and to make training more enjoyable and remembered. He still does classroom training for trainers, frontline leaders, and safety classes working, and is constantly working toward the day when all training gets a “hooray!” rather than an “oh no!” Ellis believes training can greatly affect the bottom line, save lives, and, through unique techniques, be fondly remembered and practiced.
Ellis holds a Certified Professional of Learning and Performance (CPLP) certificate through the American Society of Training & Development, now known as ATD, of which he is a member. He lives in Tucson, Arizona, where he writes short stories and poetry, and chases antiques when time permits. He retreats to fly-fishing when it’s vacation time, as there is nothing like a new adventure.
