As the Director of Learning and Development for CHAS Health in Spokane, Washington, I currently lead a team of learning professionals that focus on all aspects of talent development from clinical skills, apprenticeships and educational programs to leadership and professional development. I helped to create and implement 3 apprenticeship programs in the fields of Medical Assisting, Dental Assisting and Pharmacy Technicians, resulting in CHAS Health and the Learning and Development team becoming the recipients of the 2021 Washington Achieve Award. I also currently serve on the Eastern Washington Area Health Education Center as an Advisory Board Member.

I hold a Master of Arts degree in Anthropology and a Masters in Library and Information Science specializing in Health Literacy. Active in my community volunteering with the Spokane County Public Library and the Girl Scouts of Eastern Washington North Idaho on their adult education committee, I am passionate about access to information and education for all.
