Jean is the owner of Human Resources Simplified a Florida human resources consulting and training company, helping businesses do more with less.  She also does career coaching, which includes resume writing services, bios, and profiles, as the owner of Career Advice Simplified, helping job hunters take their next step.

She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Rowan University, where she majored in Psychology with a Human Resources concentration. She holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Argosy University, with a concentration in Human Resources.

She received recognition as a Senior Professional in Human Resources from the Human Resources Certification Institute, by virtue of extensive experience and passing a comprehensive examination and was later granted lifetime certification. She was later awarded certification as a Certified Business Manager by the APBM. Most recently she was awarded SHRM certification as a Senior Certified Professional and PARWACC certification as a Certified Professional Resume Writer.

She teaches university business courses online and on the ground as an adjunct for several colleges, undergraduate and graduate levels.

The Sarasota Manatee Human Resources Association named Jean “HR Professional of the Year”. Additionally, she was named “HR Professional of the Year” by the Charlotte County Society for Human Resource Management.

She is a national member of the Society for Human Resource Management, the Association for Talent Development, the International Association of Coaching, the International Mentoring Association, and the International Association of Facilitators.
