I am currently the Manager of Staff Training & Development at Ferris State University. It is my job to be approachable and form strategic partnerships throughout the University in support of employee training and professional development.
My goals revolve around supporting staff development and encouraging life-long learning in support of the University's mission, vision, and values. I strive to be a role model for others to follow by living our shared core values and providing opportunities for others to do the same.
My team and I use several mediums in the delivery of training including learning management systems, websites, blogs, videos, fliers, handouts, job aids, emails, workshops, lunch & learns, webinars, and town halls. I enjoy the variety of opportunities working in training and development provides.

Having professional and personal goals is very important to me. I achieved this goal which made me eligible for my current position.
In 2014, I joined the Association for Talent Development (ATD) because I feel it is important to stay informed of the latest trends and research in talent development and it feeds my strength of Ideation.
