Kara Stafford is a Talent Development Program Manager for CareSource where she oversees and administers the HiPo program for individual contributors to prepare them for leadership. Prior to this, Kara was with Nationwide Children’s Hospital, as part the Organizational Development team where she consulted, designed, and developed a variety of experiences including new employee orientation/onboarding, leadership development, and career circles. Additionally, Kara has served as the Director, Training & Events for ERC; the Program Manager for Women’s Leadership at the YWCA Greater Cleveland; and she held a variety of positions at KeyBank including Leadership & Organizational Development Manager, New Employee Onboarding Manager, and Instructional Designer. Her career in learning and development began at Progressive Insurance where she discovered a love for helping others learn and grow. There, she designed and delivered training for new and tenured call center team members.
Kara has a M.Ed. in Adult Learning and Development, and the credential as a Certified Professional in Talent Development from ATD. Kara holds additional certifications, including:

Outside of her career, Kara cares about causes including animals, children, and heart health. She is a dog mom to a rescued puppy who is now 10 years old.
