I am currently working for Pierce Transit as their Learning & Development Administrator. Pierce Transit is an organization consisting or over 960 employees that provide public transportation for over 90% of Pierce County. Currently responsible for reviewing, developing, and delivering courses to staff designed to enhance organizational efficiency and support a culture of continuous improvement.
I coordinate leadership development programs that include the Diversity & Inclusion Program and the Awards & Recognition Program, and Mentorship Program. My expertise include Adult Learning Modules, management of Learning Management Systems, team building, change management and organizational leadership.
I volunteer as an Associate Instructor for FourBlock, an organization that is building a community of high-potential veterans and employers in a supportive environment. He also is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), Olympia Chapter, the Association for Talent Management (ATD) and the Training Resources and Information Network (T.R.A.I.N).
Recently retired from the United States Army in December 2017 after 20 years of active federal service as a Human Resource Professional. My military career culminated in achieving the rank of Chief Warrant Officer Three. Accomplishments include: the Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Overseas Service Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon and include three deployments to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and one to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
I recently attained a Bachelor’s of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Brandman University in December 2017 and currently seeking to complete my Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership from Brandman University.
