Linda Jenkins

 Linda Jenkins is a nonprofit governance and leadership consultant. She has over 34 years of professional experience. She has owned her own company - Jenkins Consulting Group (JCG) - for twelve years.

JCG services strengthen nonprofit organizations through strategic planning, board assessment and development, program assessment and evaluation, and disrupting unconscious bias training. It provides services through in-person one-on-one and group consultation, online surveys, webinars, hands-on workshops, and meeting and retreat facilitation.  Through Linda’s leadership and expertise, JCG has successfully completed 63 projects for 46 organizations in Oklahoma and Texas.

In 2012, Linda boosted her board consulting expertise by becoming one of the first BoardSource Certified Governance Trainers®. Driven by her passion to help nonprofit leaders create inclusive workplaces, she became certified to facilitate Managing Unconscious Bias in the Workplace workshops through the Cultural Intelligence Center in August 2019.

Before establishing JCG in 2007, Linda honed her professional skills through positions with the City of Long Beach, the City of Tulsa and the Tulsa Area United Way.  Linda holds degrees from Princeton University and the University of Texas at Austin.

Linda is a graduate of Leadership Tulsa (1999) and North Tulsa Development Council (2011). Currently, Linda is serving as Vice President of Finance for the Association for Talent Development (ATD) Tulsa Chapter and Vice Chair of the City of Tulsa’s Sales Tax Overview Committee. Previously, she served on the board of directors for YWCA WomenShelter (Long Beach, CA), Youth Services of Tulsa, and Friends of the Tulsa City-County Libraries.

Linda is an avid women's basketball fan. She loves to sharpen her coaching and teamwork skills by watching NCAA and WNBA games. She has traveled to nine Women’s Final Fours. She is looking forward to attending her tenth, in San Antonio, in April 2021.
