Lonney F. Gregory , SHRM-SCP, MS

 

 

 

Lonney F. Gregory has over 25 years of corporate, military and public-sector training experience. Lonney has led nationwide training deployments, supported our nation’s defense and intelligence communities and has been a trusted adviser to learning leaders and corporate officers across multiple industries. He is currently a Sr. Training Specialist and Internal Consultant for one of the region’s largest Health Insurance providers.

 

As a former executive, his teams have designed archetypes and system models for organizational change, training program management, learning technology deployment, and for instilling and promoting innovation and inclusion. He is an accomplished instructor and instructional designer having developed and taught topics ranging from program management and systems engineering to inspiring innovation and creativity. Lonney spent 12 years serving the U.S. Intelligence and Department of Defense communities where he designed customized experiential learning programs, deployed nationwide training and change initiatives, and worked with scientists and engineers to develop and communicate new capabilities. Lonney is a sought after seminar leader and speaker having delivered multiple signature seminars at the BEYA (Black Engineer of the Year) Global STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Competitiveness Conference, the Women of Color in Technology conference, and at NSBE (National Society of Black Engineers) conferences where he also served as a student, professional, and executive coach.

 

Lonney enjoys consulting on Human Capital Management Initiatives, Training Program Management and Effectiveness Measurement, and Organizational Effectiveness Programs.  His favorite topics include: Systems Thinking and Complexity; Virtual Team Performance Coaching; Leveraging Inclusion; Change Leadership and Transition Management; Innovation, and Health Insurance Essentials.

Lonney holds a Master’s degree in Social and Organizational Learning from the school of Public Policy at George Mason University. He is a William Bridges Transition Management Master facilitator, certified in MBTI and FIRO-B, among other certification and has earned a US Navy Master Training Specialist and Distinguished instructor designation. He is a Society of Human Resources Senior Certified Professional.
