I have worked as a veterinary professional for 20+ years. The bulk of my experience has been in emergency and critical care. My currently title is Training Specialist. I handle new hire orientation, on-boarding, education support, direct the intern/extern program for students in the local veterinary technology program, and also provide in-house education for our existing teams in a moderate (and quickly growing) sized 24 hour emergency and specialty hospital. I am currently focused on develping myself to be better at my role in order to groom a team of trainers to be exceptional instructors. I would like to have as many tools in my bag as I can carry!
