ABOUT ME

A Doctor of Education degree specializing in Performance Improvement Leadership at Capella University (12/2017) is enabling meaningful contributions to the field of education during changes.  Doctoral studies at Capella University are including a Post Master's Certificate in Leadership and Accountability (2016), initiation into the Kappa Delta Pi International Honor Society in Education, and a Post Master's Certificate in Performance Improvement Leadership (9/2017).  Washington D.C. experience while completing a Marymount University Master of Arts (2004) within the School of Business included legal work for lawyers in Washington D.C.. Undergraduate studies included a Bachelor of Science from Ashland University (2002), an Associate degree at the University of Akron (2000) and completion of the Ohio Police Officers Training Academy (1999).  

Field experience includes 7.5 years as Paralegal II in the Office of General Counsel at the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Inc. (FINRA) (a nonprofit organization) by the White House in Washington D.C..  FINRA is a non-governmental self-regulatory organization (SRO) regulating securities markets including the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) with law enforcement duties under the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). While at FINRA, mentoring alongside human resources in a pilot program with the senior management and senior leaders.  Experience includes 5 years as a Paralegal at other Washington DC firms including experience working with senior attorneys.  More recently, Aloisi Investigative Services LLC, a detective agency in the Washington D.C. area, with requirement of at least 5 years of law enforcement experience for the licensing is now Aloisi Intervention Services.  Additionally, experience at at Aloisi Investigative Services LLC included Compliance Agent duties.  Currently, consulting at Aloisi Intervention Services.  

Volunteer opportunities during the doctoral journey include operating a Private Security Service Business under certification of the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services in the Washington D.C. area.   Volunteer support for law enforcement, as a life guard to support the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, and Navy Seal Foundation are previous opportunities improving communities.  Other previous experiences leading a Gang Resistance Education and Training program, the Presidential Inaugural Committee and Pro Bono paralegal work for the armed forces, law enforcement, a college and first responders during graduate studies in the Washington D.C. area are improving communities as well.  As an ambassador of the Get America Fit Foundation, Capella University and a sponsored athlete the plan is to continue improving organizations and communities going forward.
