Pam Sammarco founded Green Training Associates LLC in 2009.  We help build sustainable organizations by developing leadership and workforce capabilities. Pam has an extensive track record as a highly effective master instructional designer, facilitator and performance coach.   Pam routinely works with business people, young professionals and college students to help them gain greater confidence and professionalism, as well as build abilities in relevant skill areas. 

 

GTA is uniquely positioned to build green bridges between employers and higher education with green/sustainability degree competency reviews, benchmarking and career advisor support.  We ensure a solid match between degrees and the development of sustainability job competency, occupational titles, and eligibility and qualification requirements.  We have worked with NJ higher education leaders on career preparedness, workforce readiness and 21st century skills.  We develop people using workshops, educational and career growth maps, coaching, tools and resources. 

 

In Pam’s accomplished career, she has worked inside or consulted for global corporations in diverse industries such as technology, insurance, energy, pharmaceutical, multi-media, payroll, management consulting, accounting, and consumer products, financial services, telecommunications and pharmacy benefit management.  Pam has proven success, delivering significant results from strategic OD, talent and learning interventions. 

 

Pam is certified to administer Hogan Leadership Assessment Systems.  She holds her Certified Professional in Learning & Performance credentials (she met Association of Talent Development standards.)  Pam’s training expertise spans three industries for four progressive companies: Citicorp, American Express, Alcatel-Lucent and Medco Health Solutions.  Pam is a Board officer for NNJ Association for Talent Development - VP, Leadership. Pam holds a M.S. Applied Psychology, HR Management, Stevens Institute of Technology; B.A., Psychology & Statistics, Magna cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa, Douglass College, Rutgers University.

 

Pam, is a long-time science and technology enthusiast and has worked as a training leader in the technology industry for 20 years.  She is a lifelong yoga practitioner, enjoys a sustainable lifestyle, engages in sustainable investing, is an avid recycler, a nature photographer, donates to charitable organizations, and cooks farm to table with our NJ fruits and vegetables.  For many years, she mentors young professionals on careers and professional endeavors to enable their success.  She is an active Douglass alumna through local programs.  Pam is also passionate and engaged in supporting women in leadership and gender parity remediation.
