ABOUT ME

Since 1998, I have served in the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) profession.  Over the years, I have worked as an EMT, a paramedic, a field training officer, EMS educator, EMS researcher, and consultant.  I have held positions such as EMS Program Director, Clinical Coordinator, and Field Training and Evaluation Program Coordinator for a community college, a university, and a busy 911-based EMS system respectively.  In 2016, I completed a graduate degree concentrating in EMS Education.  I am also a certified EQ-i 2.0 Coach and teach courses on EMS Field Training and Emotional Intelligence for EMS Management.  

I am interested in sharpening my skills as an instructional designer, coach, trainer, and consultant.  I have on the job experience with developing course curricula, instructional design, accreditation for initial and continuing education, and program development and oversight.
