Shemeka Simpson
ABOUT ME

Shemeka Simpson is an accomplished trainer, facilitator, speaker, virtual producer, and emcee.  She has worked in higher education for over 20 years.  Her passion is creating and delivering content that builds on not only the learners’ excitement to learn, but the trainers’ and facilitators’ excitement to teach new things.

She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Kennesaw University in Communication, where her thesis (Cultivating Images: Portrayals of African American Males) was selected as the winning content analysis thesis. Shemeka earned her Master Trainer and Facilitator designation from the Association of Talent Development. She graduated from the Chancellors’ Innovative Leadership Academy at Houston Community College, where her group’s final project (Digital Badging) was chosen as the project to implement college-wide.

Shemeka believes training that engages, encourages, and elevates a learner will help foster strong emotional bonds in the learning environment.  Shemeka is the founder of Eleven|Fifteen Training and Consulting LLC, designing, developing, training, and facilitating onboarding and professional development solutions that engage, encourage, and elevate learners.

She enjoys family time and football, not necessarily in that order, and volunteering in her community through her sorority, Sigma Gamma Rho, Sorority Incorporated.
