One of the biggest advantages of beginning your journey in the workforce at a young age, is you increase your exposure to all types of Leaders- both great and poor.

I started working at 14 years old and from then until now, I have earned valuable experience from different leaders. Some I aspire to be, while from others, I learned how not to be. Either way, I'd like to think I'm better for it.

Through it, I've achieved success in both retail and office environments, but nothing has been more impactful than to watch my peers, direct reports, and others grow and achieve goals that they didn't believe was previously possible.

I joined ATD not only to become a better leader, but also to strengthen those that I come into contact with by equipping them with the techniques that I plan to learn here.
