I have a Master of Arts in English (Classical and Modern Rhetoric). I have 16 years teaching experience in the university classroom, and during this time, I developed online master courses as well as taught Comp I and II courses, Developmental Writing, Modern Humanities, and Classical Humanities online. I served as the college's composition program cooordinator. This experience created a love and passion for instructional design and curriculum. I found I enjoyed exploring on-trend technology along with studying how my students could be engaged and complete assignments which met program outcomes.  This interest led me to leave the higher education setting to pursue work with Subject Matter Experts in the federal government sector at the Flight Standards Designee Branch (FAA) in Oklahoma City, Ok. I am currently working as an Instructional Systems and Design Specialist for Power Costs, Inc.
