Treca Stark, EdD, CPTD is Professional Development Manager at Fairfax-Falls Church Community Services Board, where she is responsible for learning and development strategy and operations for the largest community-based behavioral health care provider in the commonwealth of Virginia. Her efforts have been focused on expanding offerings beyond classroom-based learning solutions to include blended learning, virtual instructor-led training, self-paced e-learning, and other forms of just-in-time solutions that promote sustained performance.
Treca establishes and oversees professional development contracts; leads a team in the production of learning solutions; and facilitates training and development processes and programs that contribute to CSB’s strategic and operational priorities.
Before joining CSB, Treca’s professional work included leading, designing, and delivering learning and development programs in consulting, health and human services, and higher education industries. With doctoral research that centered on educational access and systems usability, Treca has spoken and taught on learning and technology and is a member of the Association for Talent Development and Metro DC Chapter of Association for Talent Development.
Dr. Stark received a Doctor of Education in Higher Education and Community College Leadership from Morgan State University, a Master of Education in Educational Administration from University of New Orleans, and a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Political Science with a Business Administration Minor from Loyola University New Orleans. Her continuing education includes an Executive Education Certificate in Fostering Inclusion and Diversity from Yale School of Management and a Graduate Certificate in E-Learning from George Mason University. Along with other certifications and certificates, she is a Certified Professional in Talent Development.
