Dr. Yousef Alsaadi is the First Emirati Certified Food Scientist (CFS) and
has a Doctorate degree in Food Science from Food Science Institute,
Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas, United States (USA). He
is holding the Food Policies Section Manager at Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority in the
United Arab Emirates (UAE). He have more than 24 years of experience in food science and
food safety. His major research interests are rapid methods and automation in food microbiology
and food safety. In addition to new emerging issues and trends in food safety.
He is a member of the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT), the International Association for
Food Protection (IAFP), the Society for Applied Microbiology (SFAM), the International Food
Safety & Quality Network (IFSQN), and the Association for Talent Development (ATD).
