Melissa Diaz is a Training & Development professional who partners with Sales, Marketing, Operations and Project teams to help them grow and strengthen their skills to achieve the goal at hand. After spending 2 decades in the professional environment while, doing so in many different types of industries; Melissa knows what really drives the best customer experience, excellence in skills development in teams that today are great sales achievers, as well as guide others into their career growth into leadership roles held in many today. But, most of all encourages the teamwork along all the teams she has worked with.
Melissa knows what it takes to strive for excellence and demonstrate these tasks through businesses goals achievement. Melissa believes in the greatness that everyone has to share with the world and is passionate in providing anyone in contact with her to identify those traits and skills, while helping them to be viewed as the best at what they do - this level of achievement in everyone she reaches to is what lets her know she accomplished the goal. Melissa has worked at several industries these being, Pharmaceutical/Biotech companies in which, she held early roles as a Chemist, Sales Professional, Business Analyst and Training Manager. Has also worked in the telecommunications retail environment where she has held roles of Regional Trainer and Recruiter. Melissa has been able to leave a legacy of training programs behind that are still a key component in the sales forces in these past and current companies which enable them to close the sale and reach the goal; in addition to the having developed the leadership skills in many professionals that hold roles of VP, Directors and Management in those companies and or new ventures.
Melissa is a trained & certified training facilitator, curriculum development, logistics, operations and project manager experienced professional. Melissa has been awarded “2000 Best Performer” , “2001 Business Innovation Award”, “2007 Team & Leadership Recognition Awards” just to name a few.
Melissa holds a BS in Chemistry degree of the Ana G. Mendez - Turabo University an MBA in Marketing & Management degree of the University of Phoenix. Melissa continues her knowledge growth in Adult Learning, Leadership and Training Development areas of study.
On a personal note… Melissa, is a mother of two amazing bright and athletic teens that keep her and her husband on their toes from one basketball court to gymnastics gymnasium. Melissa keeps in mind at a high note the importance of “work-life” balance and how managing the top priorities in all we do is important and imperative for achieving a goal at the right time without compromising the integrity and importance of each one.
