Naomi Kinney, CPTD, is a dedicated education and training professional, working primarily in healthcare. She is currently a health and safety training specialist at the George Washington University, where she conducts OSHA safety training for the staff in both English and Spanish. Her past accomplishments include implementing the interpreter services program while director of hospital education at Providence Hospital in Washington, D.C. She has also worked at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center as an education and training specialist, and at the Kroger Company as an instructional designer.  A certified curriculum designer through ATD, Naomi also holds the CPTD credential. She is a certified healthcare interpreter, and holds degrees in English literature and foreign languages from Central State University. She lives in Maryland with her daughter.
