Hello Everyone,

If this question belongs somewhere else, I'm happy to move it. I work in an insurance environment with multiple lines of business and the training function is decentralized across those lines of business. Training managers and directors across the organization have formed a committee to work through an RFS to review what other LMSs would meet our needs from an enterprise wide standpoint. We have about 11,000 employees across multiple states.

Can anyone share what LMS they are currently using and the pros and cons of that system?

If you are using SharePoint at your company, I recommend checking out ShareKnowledge. Full disclosure - I am their Marketing Director. Previously, I worked with a consulting firm that helped companies with their LMS Selection projects. I've been impressed with ShareKnowledge's approach, which solves the big issue of making someone go to an LMS, rather than being integrated into the daily workflow. Reporting is better as a result. It is a great option for the decentralized scenario you describe.

In your type of business, I would highly recommend Adobe Captivate Prime.
This LMS allows for multiple instances that would be perfect for a company that has several offices/sites.
