Hello! I'm a new member of ATD and wanted to share a podcast I recorded a few months ago on parenting. It feels particularly relevant as companies are trying to help their employees manage working from home while raising children who are remote learning. It's stressful! And stats show that one in five kids has some sort of difference (learning and/or neuro-atypicality). This podcast interview gives some insight into my journey with two special needs children. I work with many leaders who are also parents and find themselves looking for support now more than ever. Companies have a unique opportunity to normalize this stressful time for parents and to provide resources. I see this as part of the much larger conversation around inclusion.
