Emotional Intelligence

Published: Thursday, July 23, 2020

My organization is looking to offer an Emotional Intelligence  training for all employees.

Has  your organization offered this type of program?  If so, I would love to hear your thoughts, recommendations, and outcomes of the program, vendors, etc.  We are definitely looking to bring in an expert for this training, either in-person or virtually.

I also recommend EQ-i 2.0/360 as a tool to understand and develop emotional intelligence. If your organization uses CliftonStrengths, they pair well as goal and means for development, moving talents to strengths while growing EQ. I am certified in both measures, and would be happy to customize a cost effective program focused on your organization's mission and values.

Dear Heather, I have recently explored the Instrument EQi2.0 & EQi 360-MHS Talent (Canada) and thankfully just yesterday got my certification :D. The EQi 2.0 supports an individual to understand the various scales that are at interplay which constitute his/her world of EI, which scales are dominant, which scales can be explored further. I found it quite interesting. Incase you need any help in debriefing of reports, please let me know, would be happy to help.
Thank you Sanjukta, and congratulations on your certification!

HI Heather, One of the most important decisions with emotional intelligence is which model/assessment to use. They are not all created equal, Here is a link to some questions to ask a Vendor https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/questions-you-should-ask-emotional-intelligence-vendor-ed-hennessy/ We have been providing EQ training to clients around the globe for over 10 years and have also been doing this virtually/online since 2013. Thank you for the Vendor questions, Ed. I'll check them out and take a look at your website.
