Hello All. I am new to the banking industry. Would anyone be willing to share how they train their universal bankers? What is the timeframe of the training? What topics do you cover? What have learned along the way that made the program even better?

Hi Janet. I lead the Talent Dev team at a large CU in the DFW area. Our Operations team have begun a project to convert to Universal Associates. We are partnering with them to design a new learning approach that includes intervals of classroom and OJT and coaching. Our Universal Associates comprise three levels and the learning process focuses on level matched training tracks that build upon prior learning. I'm happy to discuss with you and learn what you are doing.
