IF PEOPLE HAVE ALREADY LEARNED, SHOULD WE CELEBRATE THAT?
This past week ATD has been celebrating Employee Learning Week. Different local chapters have talked about their favorite celebrations, and have had all sorts of different events like ATD Long Island’s Virtual Scavenger Hunt to celebrate.
Many organizations value the Return On Investment of a good training delivery, particularly if it can be shown how it positively impacts the bottom line, but do we really need to celebrate that the learning took place if it has already helped the company.
I have several reasons I think it is not only appropriate, but necessary. Before I give out a list in the comments let me ask you brilliant people your reasons:
