Fried Training Talk- Christmas Advice

As much of the world celebrates the Christmas Season, I hope all of you out there are experiencing some amount of joy whether it is from your work, your home life, or even a particularly great piece of instructional design.

Since it isn’t really practical for us all to do a physical Secret Santa gift exchange here, I thought maybe we’d try an exchange of your best learning design advice, and in that same spirit of Secret Santa we’ll put a “budget” on it that your advice cannot be more than 20 words. The advice can be serious strong advice, or something silly.

Always make sure learners understand what they will get out of your training, they all need that motivation to learn.”

Ask lots of questions and get to know your stakeholder's business. Find opportunities to be taught and grow your credibility!
Nice use of 20 words Maggie. The more we know as trainer or training developers, the more appropriately we can set our goals.

Even if it's only 30 min a week, take the time to strengthen your skills in something new - one chunk at a time.
