Fried Training Talk- Remote vs. Virtual

Is 2021, the year of: VIRTUAL TRAINING or REMOTE TRAINING? 

Happy 2021 everyone. Hope everyone had a fun and safe celebration.

Due to 2020’s Pandemic many more people are working remotely, and they need support. I’ve heard many colleagues say their business has gone all “Virtual” with their trainings.

If I know them well, I continue the conversation by saying. “Don’t you mean your training has gone REMOTE”?

Some get confused. Others say, “You know what I mean.” Some say, “It’s the same thing.”

Where do you smart folks fall in this semantic debate?

1. Do you think there is a difference between remote learning and virtual learning?
2. If so how do you define the difference?
3. And for you or your business, is 1 of these training modes better than the other?
