“KNOWING EACH OTHER, WE KNOW OURSELVES.”
Some of you connected with me on here (& on other platforms) as far back as the early 2000’s. Others of you connected within the last 6 months, and some of you may not have connected with me yet.
So, I want to ask all of you, as people who sometimes design or deliver learning in one form or another, tell me in 3 sentences or less who are you?
Here is who I think I am:
As an instructional designer, I consider myself a disciple of Michael Allen (via Ethan Edwards‘s training in 2006) with a lot of influence from my 1st mentor/boss Luci Reeser & Tom Kuhlmann‘s Rapid ELearning blog. I believe in Bob Mosher & Conrad Gottfredson‘s 5 moments of need & the desperate need for a focus shift toward Performance Support/Workflow Learning. My passion for inclusion & well designed learning drives me forward to keep learning, keeps me asking questions, and hopefully allows me to share some useful ideas both with people being trained & all of you.
So, what are the 3 sentences that describe you - from a training development perspective?
