Thinking of getting into blogging

Hello ATD community,

I am looking for some advice about starting a blog. I don't know where to begin, how many words, and where to post it. I have a lot of worthwhile material but need some advice from others who have started, how did you get started and what resources would you recommend. Any advice, guidance or feedback is greatly appreciated.
