PowerPoint template policy - a question for those who use contract instructors and their IP for hosted training events

I am interested in hearing from training providers who use contract instructors to teach their own IP for open enrollment training events.  Do you ask them to use your organization's branded PowerPoint template for their slide material?  Do they use their own PowerPoint template?  Do they use your branded PowerPoint template for wrap-around content (ie. housekeeping items, introductory/closing remarks) but their own for their owned content?  What is your policy and why?  Are you reproducing the slides in learner handouts?

Shirley, the answer is "it depends". In my current organization we just brought in some external trainers who we had rebrand some of their specific PowerPoint slides so they didn't violate our policies, but we did not have them re-do everything to a template that would match the look of what we would normally use. We did reproduce their slide show to distribute, but did change that so it was at least closer to our standards.
