'What is needed when it is needed!' Is this how your employees describe your mobile learning? Your mobile learning can target and rapidly close critical skill gaps, satisfying the rising demand for immediate learning opportunities. In this session, you will learn what it means to deconstruct job roles into key skills and design short, targeted mobile learning modules that teach those specific skills. To effectively teach a new skill you must place that skill within the context of the task or job that needs to be accomplished: 'the what, when, who, why and how.' You will also learn and apply an instructional design process that holistically addresses mobile learning design to rapidly improve employee high-demand skills by utilizing short, targeted mobile learning experiences that are fun and directly related to employee job requirements. A background in learning theory and mobile learning design and tools is helpful, but not required.
