This session explores the daily role that supervisors/managers play in their direct reports’ careers—which impacts the success of the entire organization. Participants will learn a simple model for assessing performance that can be used with any appraisal tool (or no tool at all). Further, participants will examine strategies for inspiring and motivating enhanced performance. This session was presented at the ATD21 Conference, held @Home and @HQ, in Salt Lake City, on August 28 - September 1, 2021.
