Mobile used to be an emerging technology. Now, it's the new normal. That's changed the game for learning and development programs: 67 percent of course creators who participated in an Articulate survey say they've been asked to create mobile courses. Several apps for multidevice authoring claim to make courses responsive. But while responsive technology works for websites, it doesn't work so well for slide-based e-learning. Instead of unlocking the benefits of mobile training, these apps make developers' jobs harder. Course authors became responsible for tweaking each slide to fit any device a learner might use --- an arduous task that belies the claim that these apps make responsive courses! In this session, you'll learn how to solve this issue with better technology. You'll uncover the difference between slide-based and responsive authoring, when to use each approach in your e-learning, and how to find apps that do the heavy lifting for you.
