What’s Wrong With This Course? Quality Testing and Editing Strategies for Designers and Developers

Tuesday, May 8, 2018

Do you know how to test e-learning modules and edit course materials? Reviewing is not enough. Testing and editing are two separate disciplines that require a skill set different from instructional design and development. In this session, you'll work to find the errors in a workbook and an e-learning course while using the testing and quality control strategies culled from various industries, but adapted for training materials and e-learning courses. You'll learn where errors are most likely hiding and get tips for finding them. You'll also learn how to see a course through learners' eyes and gain insight into how to predict the unexpected paths they may take. Additionally, you'll learn how to consistently document errors and communicate them to developers.
