Aleta Raiford began her training career as an “Accidental Trainer” in 2000 at Delta Air Lines as an In-Flight Facilitator. During her employment, she was able to obtain her MBA in Human Resource Management. When Delta offered extended leaves, Aleta took the time away to obtain employment at Kaiser Permanente, as a Senior Improvement Advisor. There she honed her skills of organizational development, and process improvement. After returning to Delta, she completed 21 years of employee onboarding and recurrent training. Aleta also joined Delta’s Human Resources In-Flight division where she left her legacy by hiring the next generation of Flight Attendants then retired after 31 years of service. After retirement she continued to cultivate her talent for training as a Curriculum Designer with Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles. Presently, she is employed at Gant Travel as a Corporate Travel Trainer. Ever evolving in her career allows her to combine her savvy from the travel industry, facilitation, and curriculum design. Aleta likes being available to share insight and give a helping hand. She prides herself on being the go-to person for employee motivation. Aleta is a member of the ATD Forum.
