Artrell Williams is the L&D manager for a global tire manufacturer, a motivational speaker, and an amateur stand-up comic. He has spent the past 15 years in the corporate learning space, designing and delivering engaging learning experiences. In 2019, to level up his speaking and presentation skills, he decided to try his hand on a comedy stage. He describes his first performance as “meh,” and in true lifelong learner fashion, he began to study the art of stand-up comedy. Williams noticed the transferable skills used in comedy and training, and after numerous inquiries from his L&D peers, he began sharing ideas an practices through speaking in virtual and in-person conferences.
