Carl Bryant, PhD, is former deputy director of the US Department of Veterans Affairs Human Capital Services Center. In that role, he was responsible for creating and deploying the talent management opportunities across the department. His work included identifying methodologies for expanding learning opportunities, expanding coaching opportunities, enhancing supervisors’ skills, and developing programs that ensured VA had the talent it needs in the places it is most needed.
