Carolyn Spigel is a collaborative, results-oriented executive coach and consultant who leverages her professional training in psychology and leadership best practices to her clients’ strategic advantage. Over the past 20 years she has built a reputation for skillfully coaching senior and emerging leaders from diverse cultures and industries in developing key strategic and personal leadership skills necessary to guide employees through organizational change.

Recognized for her sharp instincts and assessment skills, Carolyn quickly sorts through the clutter, gaining the trust of clients facing complex challenges. By asking thought-provoking questions and offering practical, real-world insights, Carolyn acts as a “thinking partner,” helping her clients leverage their strengths and develop targeted strategies that drive meaningful business results. Carolyn’s training as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker uniquely positions her to know the difference between counseling and results-oriented coaching while bringing a deep understanding of human behavior and group dynamics to her clients.

Carolyn is on the faculty for Georgetown University’s Executive Certificate in Organizational Consulting and Change Leadership program, where she provides group coaching to leaders and professionals completing change-leadership client engagements. She is a Professional Certified Coach through the International Coach Federation and is a Gallup Strengths Coach. She has an executive certificate in organization development and change management from Georgetown University, a master’s in clinical social work from University of Maryland, and a bachelor’s in psychology from George Washington University. She is certified in MBTI, HBDI, CCL Benchmarks 360, Resilient Leadership, and more.

She has held organization and talent development positions with Morgan Stanley Capital International, American Management Systems, Wolters Kluwer, and Revlon. As a consultant, she has worked with AARP, Health Resources and Service Administration, Federal Reserve Board, NIH, CIT, Booz Allen Hamilton, Blackboard, Revlon, Interpublic Group, EQT, NYC DOH, and others.
