Cheryl Franz, PhD, is the executive director of engagement, talent, organizational development, and DEI at Stamford Health. She currently leads a team at Stamford Health that focuses on employee engagement, talent, organizational development, training, and DEI initiatives. She also launched a coaching practice to support executives, senior leaders, and physician leaders. As an organizational psychologist and certified coach with more than 40 years of experience, Franz has had the opportunity to work to enhance the effectiveness of leaders, teams, and executives in a variety of industries. Her background includes leading a wide range of programs and initiatives for individual development, team building, organizational change efforts, and facilitation. Prior to working for Stamford Health, Franz facilitated organizational and leadership development efforts at Ford Motor Company, Pfizer, Denihan Hospitality Group, and Broadridge Financial Services, with the objective of improving the effectiveness of the organization and its leaders. She received her doctorate from Wayne State University in social psychology as well as industrial and organizational psychology.
