James McKenna is a learning leader, author, speaker, designer, facilitator, and consultant. He currently serves as the Assistant Director for Professional Learning and Leadership Development at the California Collaborative for Educational Excellence.His first book, "Upskill, Reskill, Thrive: Optimizing Learning and Development in the Workplace" focuses in developing and enhancing a culture of learning that builds and supports every person to have the skill and will to learn, help others learn, and ultimately improve individual, team, and organizational performance.Dr. McKenna holds a Doctor of Education degree in Education Leadership and Education Psychology from the University of Southern California. He is also ATD-certified as a Master Instructional Designer.
