Jim Trinka is the chief learning officer for the Office of Information & Technology (OI&T) within the Department of Veterans Affairs. In this role, he designs, develops, and delivers an individual and organization development program designed to create and sustain a high-performing OI&T workforce. Jim’s previous positions include executive director of the Leading EDGE Program, technical training director for the Federal Aviation Administration, the FBI’s chief learning officer, the IRS’s director of leadership and organizational effectiveness, and a fighter pilot in the air force. He holds a doctorate degree in international politics from George Washington University.
