John Galto completed a master’s degree  in education and taught graphic communications at NYU. He earned a second master’s degree in media studies. He has operated a printing business, worked as a training director, and a curriculum development manager in the sales training division at a major corporation. He is currently completing his dissertation in pursuit of a PhD in training and performance improvement at Capella University.
