Justin Matheson comes from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada where he works as a learning technology trainer with Saskatchewan Polytechnic. He has his Master's degree in Educational Technology and Design from the University of Saskatchewan where he began forming his idea of using video games as learning tools.
