Karen Barton began her training career in 2008 while serving as the director of compliance for Aeon, a nonprofit affordable housing developer and management company in Minnesota. In 2017, Karen transitioned to become the organization’s first learning and development manager where she continues to build the organization’s learning department. She earned the APTD certification in November 2020. Karen has bachelor’s degrees in biology and English from the University of Minnesota.
