Karole Johns is currently detailed as acting deputy division director for the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA’s) Recovery Technologies Program Division. She has been managing IT projects for more than 20 years, and has worked in customer service–focused roles for more than 30 years. Prior to joining FEMA, Karole was a government consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton and worked for Thomson Reuters. She holds an MBA in management from Ellis College of NYIT, is ITIL Foundations certified, and is a certified Project Management Professional.
