Margaret’s contributions to the industry are numerous and far-reaching. As a six-term Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Special Expertise Panel, she has demonstrated her expertise and dedication to human resources. She has also represented SHRM on the CIDRAP Board during the SARS and H1N1 outbreaks, helping to develop policies and procedures to mitigate the spread of infectious diseases.

Margaret's leadership roles in professional organizations such as the Greater Miami Society for Human Resource Management (GMSHR) and the Workers' Comp Institutes (WCI) – Return to Work Section are a testament to her commitment to advancing the field of HR. She has also been recognized as a top speaker at the SHRM Annual and Diversity Conference for eight consecutive years. In addition, she has represented the HR community globally at conferences in Dubai, London, Canada, Trinidad, and Jamaica.
