Matt Beane studies work involving robots and artificial intelligence to uncover systematic positive exceptions that people can use across the broader world of work. He is author of The Skill Code , and his award-winning research has been published in top management journals such as Administrative Science Quarterly and Harvard Business Review. In addition, he has spoken on the TED stage. Beane is also cofounder and CEO of SkillBench, a startup that helps firms deploy AI in ways that upskills their workforces. In 2012, Beane was selected as a Human-Robot Interaction Pioneer, and in 2021 was named to the Thinkers50 Radar list.
