Rachel EdD

About

As a coach and facilitator Rachel draws on her experience in conflict resolution, leadership development, and team building. She works with executives across multiple industries, and specializes in helping leaders stretch beyond their habitual thinking, relating, and problem solving patterns. In addition to her private consulting practice, she works in a variety of executive education programs. Rachel’s research focuses on supports and barriers to successful learning transfer, best practices related to facilitating transformative learning, and the role of learning communities in executive education programs. Her work has been published in the Academy of Management Learning and Education journal and in the book University and Corporate Innovations in Lifetime Learning. Rachel received her Masters in Organizational Psychology and her doctorate in Adult Learning and Leadership from Columbia University, Teachers College. During this time she was awarded a Spencer Foundation research fellowship to study "Ways of Knowing in Educational Research" with five other students from diverse disciplines. Rachel also completed a 3-year certificate program at the Gestalt Center for Organization and Systems Development where she currently serves on the Board of Directors.
