Sean Kowallis is the learning and development business partner - Americas for bioMérieux. As the L&D business partner, I utilize my B.S., in English with an emphasis in professional and technical writing and my M.Ed., in instructional design. I have worked for bioMerieux, Inc. since 2014, starting on the product labeling and documentation team, where I helped establish labeling processes, workflows, and lent my talents in technical writing for Instructions for Use (IFU) documents and Quick Guides for the BioFire products. I then moved over to the BioFire Commercial Training team, where I managed the learning management system (LMS) and collaborated with sales and marketing teams to develop product training. Currently, I am part of the Center of Expertise team and focusing on leadership and talent management. I have a passion for learning and helping others develop their skills to become their best selves.
